This is a story of the future when Ash has achieved his role as a Pokemon Master, married and had children. The narrator of this story is told by one of his children named Klonoa who dreams of being what his father, Ash, is now, the greatest Pokemon Master in the world.

Pokemon 2020 Chapter 1

"Come on Charizard burn that low life Machamp into a crisp!" I shouted as my dad battled another Pokemon Master. My name is Klonoa. I am the youngest son of the greatest Pokemon master in the world, Ash Ketchum. Ever since I was a baby I dreamed of being what my father was. I was afraid to tell him my dream because I was afraid he would laugh at my dream and other people would laugh of my dream too. I once told my best friend Ghaduis my dream and then he laughed and said "You the greatest Pokemon Master in the world! Why your father has that role and I bet that I could beat you in a Pokemon match in a snap!" It was a challenge and I always loved a challenge. But this challenge wasn't a regular challenge, it was a challenge for life. Since that day Ghaduis and I have been rivals. My dad's Charizard dodged the Machamp and used a Flame thrower attack making that Machamp faint and my dad won a Pokemon match, again. Tomorrow was the day I set of on my journey to become a Pokemon master. I looked at my clock. 8:30. Time to pack and go to sleep. I walked to the parking lot and waited for my dad. A few minutes later he came out being chased by a mob of people trying to get his autograph.

"Klonoa get in the car and start it up!" He shouted. I did as he told and put on my seat belt and waited for impact. My dad got in the car with his shirt torn to shreds and we sped away trying to get away from the mob. I sighed and muttered to myself, "This is my life, day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year."

"That is until tomorrow." My dad said. I didn't realize he had heard me. I laughed to myself and we got home. The next day it was my birthday. It was the exact day that I had to go on my journey. I got a few things for my journey. I got a bicycle from my mom to make traveling easier, I got a few super potions and full restores from my sisters and brothers in case if I ran into trouble, and I got a Pokemon from my dad. It was a Pikachu. A baby Pikachu from my dad's Pikachu. My dad's Pikachu. I liked my dad's Pikachu. I told him all my secrets and I told him my dream. Ghaduis and my dad's Pikachu were the only ones who knew my dream. Dad's Pikachu listened to my dream and understood. He told me that was my dad's dream when he was my age. The Pikachu that my dad gave Me was cool. It didn't cause any trouble unlike my dad's Pikachu who thunder shocked me the first time I tried to touch him. My dad told me that Pikachu acted like the same way he did to me the first time he met him. After a few days of countless thunder shocks and ignorance I became good friends with my dad's Pikachu. I went to my dad's Pikachu and told him good-bye and I hugged him. I promised him that his son or daughter was safe in my hands. I walked to the Pokemon lab in my town and waited for Professor Lin. Like 10 minutes later Prof. Lin and Ghaduis showed up. He let me pick Pokemon first. I had three choices Bulbasaur, Squirtle, of Charmander. I choose Charmander because they were like the hardest to get for me. Ghaduis choose Squirtle. Prof. Lin gave use both a Pokedex and Two Pokeballs. As I walked off Ghaduis challenged me.

"I Choose you Charmander!" I shouted as he came out of his pokeball. Ghaduis smiled and choose Squirtle.

"Charmander Scratch attack!" I told him. Charmander scratched Squirtle hard but it didn't do to much damage. Squirtle used Bubble but Charmander dodged and kept scratching Squirtle. When Squirtle was down to half his life I called Charmander back.

"Go Pikachu." I said who was at my side.

"Pikachu Thunder Shock!" Pikachu Thunder Shocked Squirtle and Squirtle fainted.

"All right we won!" I shouted. I high fived with Pikachu and Charmander and gave them apples as rewards. Charmander Burned the apple and I had to give him another one. I liked Charmander. He was funny and was always suspicious even if there was nothing to be suspicious about. When he didn't like someone he burned them which I got a a lot of mean remarks.

"Now on my way to Pallet Town!" I got on my bike and I rode into a forest. I saw something flying ahead. I stopped my bike and I walked slowly to the Pokemon. It was a Spearow!

"Great! I Choose you Pikachu!" Pikachu hoped out from behind me and thunder shocked the Spearow. The Spearow responded with a Fury attack. Pikachu got hit hard but he was OK. Pikachu thunder shocked the Spearow again and I threw a Pokeball. The pokeball jiggled but it finally went

"Ping!"

"All right I caught a Spearow! Good work Pikachu!" I called my Spearow so he could be acquainted with Charmander and Pikachu. After about 10 minutes I got to Viridian City. I walked to the pokecenter and healed my Pokemon and I thought of the strategy I was gonna use if I met up with a trainer. I walked to the Pokemart and bought a few things. 5 Pokeballs, and a few antidotes and a few potions. I didn't want to waste the super potions or the full restores. I had to catch a water Pokemon. I heard the Pokemon Master used Rock Pokemon. I walked to a store and bought a fishing rod. I walked to the lake full of excitement and I hooked a MagicKarp!

"Oh well a Pokemon is a Pokemon!" I Threw the Pokeball. It jiggled and jiggled and then it went

"ping!" I picked up the pokeball and I fished again this time I hooked a PsyDuck.

"All right!" I called Pikachu. The PsyDuck used scratch but Pikachu dodged and Kicked the PsyDuck on the head.

"Pikachu use your Thunder Shock! " Pikachu ran to the PsyDuck and then Pikachu thunder shocked it.

"Oh!" I said as PsyDuck eyes glowed.

"Pikachu get out of there! Come back!" I called to him. Pikachu hid behind me and I had no choice but to run. The PsyDuck was really mad it ran after me trying to hit me with it powerful psychic powers. I called out Spearow. Spearow Fury attack! Spearow did as I told him and PsyDuck fell. I threw the pokeball it jiggled and jiggled and I caught PsyDuck!

"All right! Good Work Spearow!" I rode my bike to Pewter City. Now it was time to face the Pokemon Gym leader there.

Chapter 2

I walked into the huge gym all my Pokemon healed and packed with potions. I walked through the long corridor till I got to a place filled with boulders and stuff in the middle of it all was a person about my age. Before I could talk to him he said

"Have you come to challenge me?" I was surprised. Did this guy really want to fight so badly?

"Yes, Do you accept?"

"Of course who wouldn't. Pokemon are for fighting aren't they?"

"No, Pokemon aren't for fighting."

"Are you sure? Well, if your sure of that I will teach you why they are used for fighting!"

He really wanted to fight. "I Choose you, Pidgedude!" he shouted. He threw a pokeball and a Pokemon that looked similar to a Pidgey and a Geodude appeared.

"What's that." I said as I opened my Pokedex. A robotic voice came out of the Pokedex saying:

"Pidgedude, a Crossbreed Pokemon. This Pokemon, created by a scientist in Cinnabar Island is extremely dangerous and rare. It is said to be found only in the deepest and darkest parts Mt. Moon" I had to think fast. I saw up in the wall a smoke detector.

"If you use Pidgedude I will use Charmander!" The Gym Master laughed but not for long.

"Charmander use an ember attack!" I shouted. Fire covered Pidgedude and the smoke reached the Smoke detector setting the sprinklers off and hurting Pidgedude badly but I covered my jacket over Charmander just in time. I called Charmander back and I choose PsyDuck. Pidgedude Laughed and he punched PsyDuck in the head making PsyDuck's headache extreme.

"PsyDuck use your Confusion attack!" Pidgedude flew into one of the boulders and fainted. The gym master gasped and called Pidgedude back.

"How dare you do that to my Pidgedude!" he shouted! He called a normal Onix. PsyDuck's headache was still extreme!

"PsyDuck use Disable attack!" Onix's Bind was disabled!

"PsyDuck use another Confusion attack!" PsyDuck made Onix go up a few feet into the air and pounded him against the floor. PsyDuck just kept doing it until Onix fainted.

"Onix Back!" The Gym Master said.

"I was wrong you are not a Team Rocket Member." I gasped!

"A Team Rocket Member!" I shouted

"Why did you suspect that?!"

"Well, Team Rocket has been terrorizing Pewter City" The Gym Master said. After that there was a Crash and glass fell around us. PsyDuck began running around wildly.

"PsyDuck back!" I shouted. Smoke covered us and a voice said

"Give us all your Pokemon!"

"But first allow us to introduce ourselves" another Voice said.

"Prepare for trouble!"

"Make that double!"

"To steal all the Pokemon in the World!"

"To use them evilly and conquer the Earth!"

"To make all trainers slaves of Team Rocket!"

"To conquer the universe with our Pokemon Packet!"

"Saran!"

"Joja!"

"Team Rocket, blast of at the speed of light!

"Surrender now of prepare to fight!"

"Flarechu, That's right!"

They were two trainers and a Flarechu. Me and the Gym Master looked at each other and fell down laughing.

"Is that your motto?!" I laughed

"It's so incredibly corny" Saran and Joja, the two trainers, burned up.

"They have rock, electric, fire, and water!" said the Flarechu.

"Well, then go get them Dratini and Diglett!" said Saran.

"You too Squirtle and Bulbasaur!" said Joja. I got up and looked at the Pokemon they stole. That was incredibly stupid!

"Pikachu attack Squirtle! Spearow get Dratini! Charmander get Bulbasaur!" I shouted as I threw two Pokeballs. The Gym Master got up and shouted

"Get Diglett Pidgedude!" He said as he threw a Pokeball and a Max revive.

"Pikachu thunder shock!" I shouted. Pikachu thunder shocked Squirtle taking away a lot of his power. Dratini tried to wrap Spearow but Spearow was high in the air. To high for Dratini to lay hand on him.

"Spearow fury attack!" I shouted as he easily dodged Dratini's attacks. Spearow did a fury attack taking a quarter of Dratini's life away. Charmander use an ember attack! Bulbasaur got fired up and fainted. Pidgedude was up in the air doing gust attacks but Diglett was underground and was not effected until he tried to use dig attack and missed and Pidgedude did a critical Gust attack making Diglett faint fast. Team Rocket gasped. Flarechu tried to attack us but he was out numbered. Flarechu ran away with Saran and Joja following him.

"All right!" I shouted!

"For helping Pewter City and defeating me you have earned this." The Gym Master said. He gave me a boulder badge.

"Hey look everybody my first badge!" I said.

"Why do you like Pokemon fights so much and what is your name?" I finally asked.

"My name is Orion and I don't like Pokemon fights. Team Rocket just made me so frustrated that I wanted to fight so much." Orion said.

"Orion? Brother of Brock the world's best Pokemon breeder?" I asked.

"Yes," he said.

"I'm Klonoa the son Ash Kethum. I heard that when your brother was younger he joined my father in his journey to become the world's best Pokemon Master." I told him.

"Oh no," said Orion

"The other trainers are waiting! I think you must go." I looked at the line of trainers waiting patiently there.

"I guess your right. Bye and thanks!" I shouted as I left. Then he said "No, thank you!" I walked out of Pewter City and I walked the way to Mount Moon. I tripped over something and scraped my knee. I held my knee with pain and I looked at what I had tripped over. I was coiled up into a ball and shaking. I must have hurt it. I walked to the creature and tried to touch it but it bit me. It bit right trough my skin!

"AHHHHHHH!" I shouted in pain. I pulled my arm back but the creature held on. I shook my arm and saw what it was. I looked like an Eevee only covered with plants. I pulled out my Pokedex and saw what it was.

"Vigrot. A Plant Pokemon. This Pokemon was recently discovered close to Mount Moon in a large Colony. No one is really sure how it evolved but People might think the Moon Stone did it combined with a Plant Stone. No more specific information." My Pokedex said.

"All right since it's plant I will choose you Charmander!" Charmander came out ready to follow my commands. Vigrot tried the bite attack on Charmander but Charmander dodged.

"Do Ember attack!" Charmander swung his tail will spinning in the air but the ember attack missed. Vigrot used a take down attack.

"Charmander get him with your tail!" Charmander Put up his tails to Vigrots's and Vigrot jumped back hurt.

"Now use Flame Thrower!" Charmander used Flame Thrower and Vigrot got burned. Then something else appeared. A Squirtle! He made used water gun on the Vigrot and the Vigrot jumped up into the air and took on Charmander. Pikachu attack the Squirtle! I know I'm breaking the rules but this is the only way! Charmander tripped over a rock in the ground and fell on a metal thing. Charmander jumped up into the air.

"Huh? It's a TM! #51, Firestorm! Charmander use your new attack!" Charmander Oopened his mouth and a Smoke cloud went over Vigrot and Fireballs fell all over Vigrot burning him again. Meanwhile Pikachu was dodging the Squirtle's attacks. Pikachu use your Thunder Shock attack. Pikachu Thunder Shocked the Squirtle bad.

"Pokeballs go!" I threw two Pokeballs. Both Pokeballs shook for a long time but they both went

"Ping!" All right Vigrot AND Squirtle got caught. I awed in amazement at what I had did. I caught two Pokemon at the same time! I gave Pikachu an Apple and I gave Charmander a Mexican Jalapeno. Since he is a fire Pokemon I figured he would like it. I saw a Jigglypuff on my way to Mt. Moon but it used sing before I could call any of my Pokemon. As I walked on I finally got the Pokecenter. I ran there as fast as I could and healed Pikachu and the others. As I waited I stuffed my face with food until I exploded. I decided to call Dad to let him know where I was. My Dad answered looking disappointed and sad.

"Hi Dad!" I said.

"Hi Klonoa." I wasn't sure why he was disappointed but I didn't say a thing.

"Hey, look dad I got my first badge!" He instantly brightened.

"Great Klo." I hated when he call me that but I went along.

" I'm in Mt. Moon now." I told him.

"MT. MOON! Oh I loved that place! Caught any Pokemon yet?" He asked.

"Yeah, I Choose a Charmander by Professor Lin, the Pikachu that you gave me, I caught a Spearow,... Dad why do you have that face on?" As soon as I said Spearow my dad had a disgusted face on. Do you have anything against Spearows dad?

"Oh no, I think It's great that you caught a Spearow.

"OK, I caught a MagicKarp."

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

"Dad why are you screaming. MagicKarps are a weak species"

"I wasn't screaming because of that. I was screaming because of your...umm. Forget it!"

"OK, I caught a PsyDuck,..."

"HAHAHAHA!"

"Dad, don't laugh I won my first badge with PsyDuck!"

"Sorry Klonoa, You just reminded me of someone!"

"OK and I caught a Vigrot and a Squirtle."

"Seven Pokemon and you are in Mt. Moon?! That amazing!"

"Thanks dad. Oh my Pokemon are healed now dad! Bye!"

"Bye Son and make me proud!"

"OK Dad." I was a Corny remark but at least he was wishing me luck. I think.

I packed all my Pokemon and I set of into Mt. Moon."

Chapter 3

As I entered Mt. Moon I couldn't see a thing I bumped into someone and a voice said. "Hey, watch where your going!"

"Sorry, It's so dark in here! I know! I choose you Charmander!" I said as I opened my pokeball. I looked at the person I bumped into by mistake. She was beautiful. I instantly fell in love. She had hair as golden as the sun and she had beautiful large brown eyes. She was the most beautiful girl I saw in my whole entire life.

"Here let me help you up." I said as I held out my hand.

"My name's Klonoa," I said as soon as I helped her up.

"My name's Sayah. Sorry." She said.

"For what?" I asked.

"For acting harsh. "She responded.

"That's OK." I told her.

"Do you happen to have a Pidgedude?" She asked me.

"Sorry I don't have one. I just started my Pokemon journey and I never have been here my entire life."

"God I have to find one!"

"Why do you have to find one?"

"Team Rocket stole my Pikachu and They will not give it back to me unless I give them a Pidgedude."

"Why didn't you say so in the first place I know someone who has one."

"Here's your Pidgedude Team Rocket." I said as I handed them a Pokeball.

Wouldn't you know it was Saran and Joja.

"Prepare for trouble! "

"Make it double!"

"To steal all the Pokemon in the World!"

"To use them for evil and conquer the Earth!"

"To make all trainers slaves of Team Rocket!"

"Conquer the Universe with our Pokemon Packet!"

"Saran!"

"Joja!"

"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now of prepare to fight!"

"Flarechu! That's right!"

"When we give this Pidgedude and this Pikachu to the Boss he will make us part of Team Crystal!" Saran said.

"Hey you promised to make give me my Pikachu back when you got the Pidgedude!!" Sayah yelled.

"One thing you must know little girl! Never trust Team Rocket!" Joja said.

"Then we must have a Match!" I declared.

"Go Pidgedude!" cried Joja and Saran.

"Go Squirtle!" I said as I threw a Pokeball.

"Since when did he get a Squirtle!" cried Flarechu!

"No matter you can take care of it with your electric attacks!" said Saran.

"You're right!" he said.

"Now Orion!" I screamed. Orion stepped out from behind a boulder and said whirlwind Team Rocket away Pidgedude. Pidgedude did as told and I called Squirtle back.

"It looks like Team Rocket lost again!" They screamed as they disappeared.

"You should have used that Squirtle when you fought me Klonoa. You would have won easier." Orion said.

"I caught him on my way to Mt. Moon." I told him. Sayah's eyes lit up.

"Pikachu is strong against Water! I can catch a few Pokemon if a lake is near! And Then I will battle you Orion!" Sayah said.

"You're collecting Badges too?" I asked.

"Yeah, I live in Pewter City and where I got a Pikachu. I knew Pikachu was weak against rock so I was going to collect some Pokemon at Cruelean City beat The Gym Trainer and beat Orion after I beat The Gym trainer at Cruelean." She told me. This was horrible! That made us rivals! I decided to catch some Pokemon too, so I told them where I found Squirtle and I followed them until we got to a River that lead to the sea.

"You better go back to your gym Orion." I said as I fished with Sayah.

"Actually I caught a Zubat in Mt. Moon with Onix so I decides to fish with you guys. "I sighed and waited for a Pokemon.

"I caught something!" Sayah screamed as something tugged at her fishing pole. A Poliwag came out.

"Go Pikachu!" she said.

"Pikachu use a thunder wave to paralyze that Poliwag!" She told her. Pikachu used Thunder wave but missed and Poliwag used bubble and Pikachu got hit hard but he recovered from the hit and used another thunder wave paralizing the Poliwag.

"OK Pikachu finish it off with a Thundershock!"

"Pikachu thundershocked Poliwag and Sayah threw Pokeball. The Pokeball shock and shock and then it went "Ping!

". Soon after that I caught a Poliwag myself, using Sayah's stradegy. Soon Orion caught a Goldeen using his Zubat. Zubat first used Supersonic to get it confused, then after it was confused he used Leech life to suck all it's energy and then Orion threw that Pokeball and caught Goldeen. Sayah and I caught Goldeens too using Vigrot and Pikachu. Vigrot used a Stun spore and then a Poison Powder and Pikachu used A simple thunder shock and we both caught the Goldeens. A few minutes later something tugged on her fishing pole. She pulled and pulled and out came a Staryu! "Go Pikachu!

" She screamed. "Pikachu use a Thunder Wave!

" Pikachu tryed to hit the Staryu but missed and then the Staryu Spin Tackled him. "Pika chu Quick attack and Thunder shock!

" Sayah directed. Pikachu ran up to Staryu so fast the Staryu or us could not follow him and then he Thunder shocked The Staryu. "Thunder Wave!

" Sayah yelled as Pikachu paralized the Staryu. "Ok, I'll take it from here! Go Pokeball!

" Staryu entered the Pokeball and the Pokeball giggled and giggled but then it went "Ping!

" "Alright, I captured Staryu!

" She yelled. I became a little jealous of Sayah but If she could catch a Staryu in this river I could too. A little bit later, my Fishing rod tugged and tugged but I held on to it. I pulled harder and a Horsea came out. Oh wow! Horsea's were really rare. I pointed my Pokedex to the Horsea and it siad: "Horsea, a Sea horse Pokemon. This Pokemon which was not rare in the past made an Exllent pet and not a real fighter. But over the years as more people caught them as pets they finnally devoleped good fighting skills. This Pokemon can use ink blobs to blind thier enemys and then they use certian water attacks to defeat thier enemy.

" "Well that dosen't tell me much,

" I said. "oh well, I know wahat Pokemon to use agianst him! Go Vigrot!

" My Vigrot came out of my Pokeballand it's first reaction was to Bite the Horsea. Horsea tryed to blind him but failed thanks to Vigrot's agility. "Vigrot, sand attack!

" Vigrot kicked up sand and blinded Horsea. Horsea, tryed to wash it up but it became worse. Vigrot then bite the Horsea and threw him onto land. "Thanks Vigrot, I will take it from here!

" Go Pokeball!" My Pokeball jiggled and jiggled but then it went

"Ping!"

"Alright I caught Horsea." I siad. I could tell Sayah now became jealous. Finnally we decided to stop fishing.

"Well we better go to that Pokemon Center up there and heal our Pokemon." Orion said. After we did that I started to head into Mt. Moon with Sayah but she stopped me and ran to Orion.

"Orion, Now it's time for us to have a Pokemon match!" she siad.
