Fan Fiction: My Pokémon Life

My name is Arcanine. Remember it. I will start my story during a battle with my trainer against a Kadabra. The rival trainer had Kadabra use psybeam on me. That did it I fainted. My loser trainer then left me out in the field where we were fighting. I hated him. I woke up with 1 hp left. I was so happy I wasn't dead yet. I wandered around and ended up in a small place called Pallet Town I later learned. I went into this big building with people with white lab coats and little glass bottles with different colored goo in them. I walked to the back of the building and found a man who rushed over to me, saw I was hurt and immediately gave me a hyper potion. I wasn't completely rejuvenated but it helped. I purred. The man said his name was Professor Oak, but he said I could just call him Oak. He took a pokéball from out of his pocket and asked if he could capture me. I purred a yes.

So he put me inside a pokéball and I didn't hear from him for a while. After about 2 months I heard a voice say "Arcanine, I choose you!" I felt a rumble, a knock onto the floor and a whoosh and out I came. I blinked getting used to the sudden light of the laboratory. Then, I took a look at my new trainer. His name was Mario. He smiled at me. Then Oak gave Mario his Pokédex, 20 pokéballs, and a golden pokéball. Oak said there was a special pokémon in there. We went outside. Oh what a great day it was. Not a cloud in the sky.

We walked down the path I remembered so vividly from when i had walked on it 2 months ago.We got to Viridian City in no time, and seeing no reason to stay we went on to the Viridian Forest. As soon as we walked in I saw a Weedle and purred at Mario. He saw it and told me to sneak up on it and use my tackle attack. I nodded in agreement and headed off. I snuck up behind it and tackled the weedle.

It cried in suprise, and soon it was in one of Mario's pokéballs. We kept walking until we saw a Pikachu. The Pikachu saw us and went into a fighting stance and acted if it wanted to fight. Mario frantically searched his bag and pulled out his gold pokéball.

He screamed, "POKÝÝEBALL GO!!!" He threw the pokéball and out came a Clefairy. "Cool a Clefairy!" Mario said. Then he told Clefairy to use sing. Clefairy sang Pikachu to sleep, and then pounced on it until Pikachu was to near death. Then Mario threw a pokéball a it and Pikachu was ours. Before we were out of Viridian Forest we had caught a Caterpie, and a Metapod. We got to Pewter City at 9:00 at night so Mario took me and the other pokémon to the pokémon center and crashed with a friend he had in Pewter City. I slept soundly and as soon as i woke up I saw Mario.

I felt refreshed and so we went to the Pewter City Gym Mario's friend told him about. We went in and faced Brock. Brock sent out a Golem. Mario sent yours truly into battle. I almost lost but my fire spin attack took care of Golem. Then Brock sent out his Onix. Mario sent out Pikachu and sent me back. Pikachu wiped up the floor with Onix because Onix was a new pokémon. He had just been born. Mario earned the Boulderbadge and a TM which taught bide. We were all happy as Mario took us back to the Pokémon center. I was so tired so i took a nap inside my pokéball, happy as could be.
